Established in 1899 by William Lambert Cookson, the firm of WL Cookson Ltd is a family business, renowned for personal and first-class service throughout the Blackpool, Fylde and Preston areas and beyond.

WL Cookson Ltd upholds the highest standards and has been a member of the National Association of Memorial Masons since 1907. We have been registered with the British Register of Accredited Memorial Masons (BRAMM) since its inception in 2004 and all our masons hold the full BRAMM Fixer's Licence.

Time-served craftsmen create hand-crafted lettering on memorials in our workshop where only the finest granite, marble, stone and slate is used (see our photo "The Hands Of A Master"). We are also specialists in Hebrew lettering and memorials of individual design. Additional inscriptions and the renovation of existing memorials are specialities.

There is a selection of headstones and statuary on display in our showroom on Talbot Road in Blackpool, as well as in our virtual showroom on this website.
